Stage 1 completes OK,  but then the software hangs and does not start stage 2.

 

What is wrong?

 

Answer.

 

Stage 2 depends on Windows Media Encoder being installed correctly.

 

Usually this error occurs if you have declined the installation of Windows Media Player,  offered at the end of the Pocket DVD Wizard installation.

 

If you re-install the Pocket DVD Wizard,  and ensure you install Windows Media Player this should fix this problem for you.

 

If it does not,  check you have enough system resources by closing down other applications, or restarting your PC and trying the conversion again.
