Using Windows Media Player 10 to transfer the output file to your Pocket PC
If have Windows Media Player 10 installed on your system and want to use it to transfer the file, allow the DVD conversion to finish, then double click on the output file.
Windows Media Player 10 should then automatically start, and start to play back the DVD.
Connect your Pocket PC to your PC if you have not done so already and make sure you are running Media Player in 'Full mode' and not using a 'Skin'. If you are using a 'Skin' right click on the Media Player and select 'Switch to full mode'.
Now check you have a menu bar, with file in it. If you do not, right click at the top of the software and select 'Show menu bar'.
Next, click on the 'File' menu and select 'Add to Library' and then 'Currently Playing'. If the option is greyed out then you have probably already added the file to the libary, you will not be allowed to do it twice.
Now, click the 'Sync' tab right at the top of the software, just under the menu bar.
Click on 'Edit Playlist'. a new window will appear which should list the video file you added earlier. Select the video file and it should appear in the left window pane.
Now, in the right column, assuming your Pocket PC is connected using ActiveSync, you should see a list of devices, memory cards etc. Select the device you want to transfer the video to using the drop down menu. Usually you want to transfer the video file to the SD Card and not the main Pocket PC memory, so you would select 'SD Card'.
Click on the green 'Start Sync' button to copy the file to the selected device.
